On December 18 and 19, 2025, the Pars Hotel in Shiraz, with the support of Valean Darou, hosted two specialized events that provided an ideal platform for knowledge exchange between optometrists and ophthalmologists. Organized by the Fars Optometry Association and the Fars Ophthalmology Association, the program included:

• The “Mastering Multifocal Fits” seminar on December 18.

• The “Precision Surgery Starts at the Surface: Ocular Surface Strategies” conference on December 19.

During these scientific sessions, Dr. Bahram Behrouzi Homa presented the latest methods in multifocal lens fitting. He also addressed the topic of “Optimizing Ocular Surface Stability,” examining the vital role of Bausch + Lombartificial tears and bandage lenses in patient care.
